Experience

Boat Builder (Trim Dept.)

Northstar Canoes

During my temporary job, I seized the opportunity to support myself financially while attending the University of Minnesota Cyber Security Bootcamp. Initially, I faced challenges as I was unfamiliar with power tools. However, with determination and assistance from my colleagues, I quickly became one of the most dependable workers in my department.
Notably as well, the company entrusted me with their router for a project on the NAT-Slipstream attack vulnerability. This experience at Northstar business enabled me to acquire a diverse set of skills including woodworking, metalworking, numeracy, teamwork, communication, working under pressure, analysis, risk assessment, and management.
I am grateful to have been blessed with these skills and for the personal growth they have facilitated for my career despite being only a temporary position.

Grocery Stock Clerk/ Scanning Assistant

Coborns

During my first job at Coborns, I had the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills. Initially, I focused on providing excellent customer service and honing my service skills. This involved tasks such as stocking shelves, taking inventory, and ensuring that the guests had the best possible experience. In fact, I was entrusted with managerial responsibilities within the first few months of working there.
As my department started to dissolve, I embraced the opportunity to explore new areas within the company. During my senior year of undergrad, I transitioned to the pricing department. This role allowed me to become proficient in corporate technology and tools, including Microsoft 360, RDP, POS software, printers, and office work. I also gained experience in light intranet and server interaction.
Throughout my time at Coborns, I learned the importance of serving others, even when they may not reciprocate the same level of kindness. I witnessed firsthand the positive impact of my own kindness and determination on others. Additionally, I developed professionalism and learned how to manage my emotions when faced with difficult interactions with guests or coworkers. While I still needed to work on assertiveness, I did learn how to take action and not dwell on worries.
Ultimately, my experience at Coborns served as a stepping stone to my next job and played a pivotal role in shaping my career decisions. I am grateful for the skills I acquired and the personal growth I experienced during my time at Coborns.
And I will never forget the community that supported me!

Interests

My interests include playing guitar and a variety of other instruments. On top of this, I have a fascination with technology and definitely get caught down a rabbit hole when I am interested in something new! When I am not at home, I am spending time with my friends and community playing crazy games. I can not get enough of them! Ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed playing story and soundtrack-heavy video games and movies with friends and family. Not to mention that I have made music under 'Connect Symphony' across most music streaming platforms like Spotify and YouTube!
I have definitely grown and my interests have changed, but I am ever more excited and ready to get to try new things and share my passion with others through every interaction.

Feel free to follow my hobbies if you are in to that sorta thing, and I also use Twitter (sorry.. 'X') and Facebook when I promote new songs or ideas!
I might upload one of these days..
